Removing a phobia with Fast Track Hypnosis

When meeting with a client for the first time at my Phobia Hypnosis Clinic in Belfast, I explain it this way: If you watch a horror film on TV, the conscious mind will see a frightening image and the subconscious reacts to it, eliciting fright. While the image is unreal as it is something projected on to a piece of glass, this same process is how a phobia works.

The conscious mind sees an image, be it real or imagined, a spider for example and the subconscious reacts to it; distorts it out of proportion and triggers panic. Fast Track Hypnosis calms and them manipulates the way you view your phobia by making it into a funny item, so that you ultimately start to view it with amusement.

The idea is a simple one - if you laugh at your particular phobia, then you can’t be frightened of it. And if you’re not scared, then it simply goes away.

The whole process takes approx four sessions, but this is dependent on the commitment and response of each individual. Fast Track Hypnosis dramatically speeds up the process, but an accurate number can’t be given until I understand your background and history. In comparison to the 1000 hour therapy used by psychologists and the 15 sessions by conventional Hypnotherapists, Fast Track Hypnosis saves you time and money and gets you on the road to freedom quickly.

Each package includes a professionally produced, support CD to reinforce our work together. Finally, you are taught self-hypnosis to be able to give yourself positive suggestions in any new situations that you may encounter over your life.

Over the years, I have compiled a list of phobias and their names as and when I come across them. There are now over two hundred and fifty phobias and as long as the human race continues, I’m sure that I’ll have to add to them!

There are two phobias I’ve successfully treated, which do not have a scientific name as yet: one for hair remover and the other for plastic spiders! The phobias are listed in alphabetical order for your convenience!
